Silversea Cruise Part 1

If you want to visit some of the finest cultural cities in South America, then the Silversea cruise line is a great choice. The South American cruise offers a nine-day excursion that leaves from Buenos Aries and finishes at Rio de Janeiro. The cruise begins with a three-day stay in Buenos Aires, the most European of all the South American capitals. The ship is scheduled to arrive at Puerto Nuevo, Terminal Portuaria no 3. From there, it is a nearly ten-minute drive into the city centre. A taxi can be taken from Puerto Nuevo. In Buenos Aries, you can shop for jewellery, knitwear, and wine among other things.

The next stop is Punta del Este, Uruguay that is famous for its films festivals and international conferences. The ship is scheduled to be anchored in the harbour. Some of the wealthy Uruguayans, Argentines and Brazilians have mansions, which are another great attraction of the beach resort. There is also a casino.

At the beach, the locals take part in a variety of water sports. The resort features an extensive shopping area, which is a ten-minute walk from the pier. You will find semi-precious jewels and leather goods in the local shops. As for food, the selection is wide, with restaurants serving local dishes to French and Italian cuisine.
